NHS waiting list falls for 6th month in a row

The total number of patients waiting for operations fell for a 6th month in a row.

NHS waiting lists have been falling since Labour took power in July 2024.

This news comes alongside news that the new Labour government successfully recruited an additional 1,500 GPs in 6 months, and met its pledge to deliver 2 million extra appointments 7 months early.
