Greg Stafford votes to block action on Child protection

The new Government tabled a gamechanging bill to slash child poverty and protect children in care. Tory MP Greg Stafford (Farnham & Bordon) followed Kemi Badenoch in voting for an amendment which would’ve destroyed the bill. 

Tory MP Greg Stafford voted to kill a bill bringing in new protections for children in care, Kinship Carers, and fight child poverty.

The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, brought forward by the Labour Government, will introduce:

– Free breakfast clubs for all primary schools in England

–
